Boarding kennels
Treat your dog to their own holiday at Groomlands. We offer dogs a friendly home away from home at competitive prices. The kennels we provide are purpose built to the highest standards, and exceed recommended floor area.
Our kennels are perfect for short and long stay boarding and provide excellent opportunities for your dog to socialise with others as well as having regular exercise in our extensive outdoor area. Your dog will also have playtimes with our animal attendants. Trisha joined Groomlands in September 2019. Trisha has six of her own dogs and has several qualifications relating to dogs including canine first aid certificate and Ofqual regulated level 3 in Professional day care and boarding.
Essential info
Food & Treats
We don’t provide food for your dog and ask that you bring your dogs usual food with you. We can provide food at an additional cost and have
a selection of chews and treats.
Bedding & Toys
We provide HI K9 raised beds with a vet bed cover. Feel free to bring your own dogs bedding or toys from home, but please note that we can’t be held responsible for any damage caused.
VACCINATIONS
Vaccination certificates must be up to date and we request that your pet is also vaccinated for kennel cough at least 10 days prior to their stay with us. If these conditions are not met your dog will not be accepted.
SECURITY
Our family business is located at our home so there is always someone here on site 24 hours a day.
HEALTH AND HYGIENE
In an event of an emergency or illness we will contact the owner or his/her appointed emergency contact.
Where possible we will take your pet to his or her own vet, otherwise we will use our veterinary practice. It’s the responsibility of the owner to make us aware of any veterinary, behavioural or phobia issues that their dog may have.
Both Ellen and Trisha hold canine first aid certificates.
Your dog will be insured with Cliverton insurance while in our care.
EXERCISE
We have two large exercise areas at the back of the kennels where the dogs can have a run about and play with a ball, frisbee etc.
We like to socialise the dogs in the exercise area but please let us know if you would prefer your dog exercised on its own. We also offer a dog walking service where your dog will be taken off site for a 1 hour walk on a lead.
